MetaTrader 5 platform, which is being developed over the past 3 years, is approaching completion and should be released by the middle of 2010.

Beta test of it already started at Oct 2009 and client terminal demo is available at http://www.metaquotes.net/files/mt5setup.exe.

The trading system of the MetaTrader 5 terminal was re-written from scratch, as well as the whole platform.

As compared to MetaTrader 4, trading possibilities of the new terminal are much wider.

2. The Depth of Market will be available in MetaTrader 5, which is a vital tool for trading stock markets.

4. A new execution type - "Exchange" - which developed for processing trade operations with stock symbols.

5. AutoTrading - the MQL5 language for programming trading strategies is distinct for high speed of execution. As compared to MQL4, the new language is 4-20 times quicker.

6. In addition - there are many improvements such as more indicators, 21 different timeframes are now available (compared with the 9 of MT4), much more fit for trading Forex with 5 decimal places and lot of improvments related to ECN trading.
